Halal Abroad is specifically put together to create a wide variety of holiday experiences for Muslim travelers considering their faith-based needs. With this, we would like to open the possibility for Muslims to travel to every destination they can think of with confidence that their unique needs are met to truly enjoy their vacation without hesitations and limitations.
You will be responsible for:
• Building and executing an outbound destination roadmap to support the global expansion of Halal Abroad
• Liaising with resorts, tour operators across the world to source and develop the best halal travel itineraries to fit our customer needs
• Translating product strategy into practical solutions in terms of contracting and packaging
• Working closely with the Engineering team to host the products online, create websites and content
• Identifying and filling product gaps and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Acting as a destination evangelist to build awareness and understanding within the organization
• Ensuring measurement and reporting of key product metrics is completed in a consistent and timely manner
• Being the expert on our online travel competitors and what we need to do to stay competitive
You are someone who is:
• Experienced! Commercial experience in Outbound Travel Product Management and even better if you've worked in the online travel booking space
• Connected! Existing database of supplier contacts for outbound product development will be an added advantage
• Expert at managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• A master collaborator and have incredible teamwork skills
• Conversant in issuing tickets and if you have completed IATA; you have earned plus points to be short-listed for our requirement.
• A problem-solving freak! You are willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and find the right solution
• Driven to succeed, enjoys a challenge and working to achieve goals
